I began my photographic journey with a 110 camera, just having fun, at the ripe age of 7; at least that's what I remember. Bothering my grandmother to take me to the drug store to buy film and somehow convince her to also let me develop the film I had shot, my photographic journey was well under way.
I graduated much later to two Canon A1 cameras - which I still own and still work - that traveled across the country with me, documenting my travels through the United States.
When digital photography became the norm, I transitioned but never strayed far from film and the lessons it taught me.
I have recently started to shoot film photos again and, thanks to technology, I am able to scan my negatives and process the photos in a much more meaningful and precise way.
My long term project is to go through boxes and envelopes of old negatives from the A1 days and scan them so I can see what I can do with the photos using more advanced systems.
Thank you for spending time with my images.
